Based in the grounds of Witley court, a girl, Elizabeth and her pony, escape the dramatic family life of abuse from her grandfather, she lives the story of Rapunzel locked in the tower of her own mind, ghostly scenes and memory's haunt her. One image of her future self is there to support her, (this is her wise elder) who drifts in and out viewing the scenes from a mirror in her future life. A great white horse takes her into the world of fantasy in her dreams when she switches off from the reality of her abuse.

She engages with relationship with men that remind her of her grandfather and his abuse. She acts out the parts of herself that need to heal, in the end supporting the child in her to find healing and a sense of forgiveness. The awakening of the evil doings appears in his dream.

Knowing that things have now changed, she cuts off her hair and moves on looking after her own children. She finds true love in a meeting with a stranger when they fly away in a great white bird (plane) through the sky.

Finally embracing her wise elder who has visited her through out her childhood and at times of abuse in the form of woman who watches her through the mirror of her life and meets with her in ‘soul school’ she learns the art of ‘soul retrieval’ through her dance and her healing.
