FINDING MY DANCE
The Passion Unlimited workshop was my first introduction to dancing the five rhythms on the June bank holiday weekend and what a weekend it turned out to be. The centre in Donore Avenue is an oasis of calm in a busy city and is a credit to its community.Once I stepped inside the centre, I seemed to be stepping out of my own life in some way or another. I very quickly felt at ease with Caroline's words and direction; to work with and dance with music as a tool was a revelation and eased and teased and erupted many emotions. Caroline I want to thank you for sharing your abundant gifts with me; helping me to scratch below the surface and get over myself; to move on, dance on. The group was incredibly supportive for me also; I feel that I have made some very profound connections. I was invited to join in the workshop by my sister Margie (this wasn't the first invitation by the way and lucky for me that she is the persistent one) who has danced for some time and my sister Joan who was the first in our family to dance the five rhythms. To share the joy of the dance with my sisters, to really look into their eyes and beyond and move with them; to be in synchronicity with those who are so close and dear and knowing is indeed very special. go of the negativity in my head (for that is the only place it lives)
the more positive I become and that when I dance I open more and more

I thoroughly enjoyed how you taught /facilitated the class, when you explained about the elements and how we can use/relate this to our everyday lives at the beginning of the class, it was like the session took on a different dimension,as a result of a deeper understanding of the nature of the class. The music really enabled me to become the element. I totally 'get' what you are saying about the elements speaking to us, and allocate time to specifically commune/connect with each of them, outside of the dance.
