I recently spent some time in Colombia at the beautiful 'Nabi Nunhue, House of the Jaguar'. Here I met with members of the Kogi Tribe from the Sierra Nevada.
In Cork, Ireland this year, we have been raising money to help the Kogi people buy back acres of the rain forest so they can take care of the land. It was a privalege to spend time in their presence. To partake in ceremony, to learn new dances and hear their music and teachings about the earth and the environment.

There is so much we can learn from the Kogi's and I really recommend watching this video.
If you are interested in our fund raising see dates on this page and please contact.
The kogi only want there land back from the colonists. They don't want any other help like economic development, electricity, water. They are self sustained and happy to live in there traditional way. On the land that will be bought they will build new communities and agriculture in there traditional way (so no chemicals). The rest of the land will be given back to nature.
The Kogi know secrets about nature that would make our scientists rethink their ideas on the environment and the universe. They have a presence about them that commands respect. The power of their mind is beyond comprehension. But few people outside of Colombia know who they are and what they represent. They call themselves the Elder Brothers and we can learn also to live in the spiritual world that this lost tribe lives in.
