The world today is highly competitive and the way we present ourselves is becoming more important to our success in business and personal relationships. Often we become a victim of our own inner critic, which can send us reeling into self-conscious paralyses!

'In-Sight' follows 'One Giant Leap 4 Dance' from the previous weekend in Utrecht. see LINK

'In-Sight'

Workshop held by Ben Cole & Caroline Carey.

9th (eve) - 12th February 2012

Utrecht, Holland

February 2012

In-Sight will be taking many adventures into the 'un-masked authentic human being.' Maybe you are ready to see yours?

There are 16 places only on this workshop, please book your place in advance.

Here we are creating the knowledge that we are all great teachers and speakers with deep wisdom about who we are and what are we
doing with our lives. As soon as we put aside our own fears and inhibitions, take a simple look, make a meaningful statement, we change
the power of the negative critic into a compassionate friend. How often do you look in the mirror and really see what you like in your
own reflection? We will give you the opportunity to see yourself relaxed and centered. Creating clear awareness, so that you deliver your self
effectively, expressing your message in a powerful and authentic way. We use filming, dance, movement & constellation work. Feedback on screen.

What happens at an In-Sight workshop?

  • You will experience individual ‘interviews’, various sitting and movement meditations, experience movement exercises to music, with others and alone, answer questions, find answers and share your own insights about yourself, as well as listening to each other.
  • You will be gently guided into the magical transformation that extends yourself and helps get your message and authenticity across to others, finding an ease in your connections, which will be reflected in the camera and onto the screen.
  • The film is edited in order to show back those moments that reveal the integrity of the human spirit when engaged in an authentic connection with others and in connection to the world around us. Here you can really explore the liberation of seeing different sides of your personality on the TV screen.
  • With a mission towards the world outside of ourselves, we will write and speak on how the work of our own hearts, bodies and minds can touch others and be effective on our culture and the environment today.
  • See yourself as others see you
  • Recognize the various masks you present to the world
  • Decide which of these masks you wish to keep and which to discard
  • Get to know what you truly want and how to achieve it
  • See your authentic self in all its glory, mystery and simplicity!
  • Most importantly have FUN!

In the work we are creating, we begin to learn that we are all great teachers and speakers, all with some deep wisdom about who we are and what are we doing with our lives, this we can then share with others. If we were to put aside our own fears and inhibitions, a simple look, a meaningful statement, could change the power of the negative critic in every one's mind into a more compassionate friend. A moment of being valued and seen could change the way a person really felt about them selves. How often do you look in the mirror and really like what you see in your own reflection? When you stand there for a long time and just look deeply into your own eyes. Are you awake?

“You get to see yourself as others see you and seeing the authentic self was a real draw, to go to a place where I didn’t have to put on any mask and just see the “raw” me. I had a strong urge to face my fears and experience that. I was also just really curious to see how I would come across, and I got a terrible shock! Which was a really good thing, it might help me to become 'unstuck'” Sarah F (Market Researcher)

“ ….Every child likes this question 'who are you’ and can find it very funny, entertaining and natural. As adults we carry some pain around the experience of other people trying to tell you who you are.” Wolfard

.....Initially excitement about the mini-intro for the “In Sight” workshop, having read more part of me is petrified about the camera and having to look back at it… I’m used to camera’s and I tend to become a little actress and I’m comfortable with that… just wonder how I’d feel about seeing the real me, now I feel scared but intrigued of the prospect of being comfortable with being seen and the prospect of being friends with my critic...... Siobhan

"This was a powerful and empowering experience. Thank you Ben and Caroline for this gift" Emma Pounch

"....it seems to have helped bring about a major shift I have been looking for for a long time. Thank you. I feel there are many huge areas this work could help me with-- body image being a big one. Enormous possibilities." Sarah Cunningham, Chellist and teacher

"You both brought so much knowledge, experience and understanding to what you were presenting. It also felt to me that you were really interested and passionate about what you were teaching which is contagious!" Sarah, market research, Cork

"... I think the correct way to say it is, just wait till the feeling is to extreme to hold in silence.....then wait a little more....before you speak. A trick I learnt at In-Sight. And since the workshop I’ve had a rather peculiar feeling of knowing myself and feeling way more comfortable with who I am, which is nice. This work could save lives and reduce suicides. I would like to see it in all schools!” Giles 22, (Surfer).
