Our own heart is a very intelligent part of us. In some shamanic traditions the heart is the cave.

This workshop is a deep enquiry into the meaning of what it is to be human. It is an opportunity for growth through the exploration into the innate intelligence of our own heart (Cave), and the hidden truths that lie within. In this work you will create your own physical Cave, as a symbolic representation of your heart. You will enter into that place of mystery to gather whatever wisdom sits there, both dark and light, and you will journey with the drum to old stories and symbols of the past.

Entering the Cave as an embodiment of entering our own hearts we will privately ask questions to receive whatever insights come forward, and begin the relationship with our own heart as Wise Elder.

How then do you communicate honestly from the heart? How do you tap into this place in an instant when you need to? Can you allow yourself to be seen by others as witness and mirror in this terrain? Can we truly take responsibility for our thoughts, responses and actions? Are we receptive to acknowledge our predictable and repeated patterns that might be blocking the entrance to the Cave?

What does it mean to be a true friend and speak from this place?

We will focus on the practice of Movement Medicine and find deep healing together as a community.
